This compact car was revolutionary for its time:

Sales Launch of the Audi RS 4 B5

The Audi RS 4 B5, launched in May 2000, was the first vehicle developed independently by quattro GmbH.

Exclusively offered as an Avant, it featured a Cosworth-modified 2.7-litre V6 bi-turbo engine producing 380 hp. Priced at 129,000 DM, the high-performance model distinguished itself with 18-inch wheels, lowered suspension, and aggressive styling.

A special sports package introduced in spring 2001 further enhanced its performance with racing bucket seats, improved suspension, and upgraded braking systems.

During its 18-month production run, only 6,046 units were built, quickly becoming a fan favourite and another sought-after collector's car.

First Le Mans Victory and Audi Allroad Quattro

Another significant 25-year milestone celebrates Audi's first victory at Le Mans and the introduction of the Audi allroad quattro.

The allroad quattro represented an innovative approach to the emerging crossover segment, blending passenger car comfort with impressive off-road capabilities.

Significant Decades and Half-Century Commemorations

60 Years: Rebirth of the Audi Brand

A remarkable moment in 1965 saw the revival of the Audi brand name with the first post-World War II Audi rolling off the production line. This marked a technological renaissance, introducing the first four-cylinder four-stroke engine and setting the stage for Audi's future innovations.

50 Years of the Audi 80 GTE

The sporty Audi 80 GTE, launched in 1972, represented a new level of driving excitement in the compact segment.

Its fuel-injected engine delivered an impressive 110 hp while maintaining moderate fuel consumption.

Did you know? Audi’s Early Porsche Connection

The Porsche 924 began production at Audi's Neckarsulm plant in late 1975 through a contract manufacturing agreement with Porsche and Volkswagen.

Originally developed as a Volkswagen sports car and initially planned for a five-year production run, the vehicle was ultimately produced for 15 years.

Despite initial plans to market the car under the Audi brand, Porsche acquired the production rights.

The manufacturing of the Porsche 924/944 series continued until 1991, with production taking place at the Audi facility in Neckarsulm.

" It’s now 5 years since Covid 19 hit the world. Like us, Audi rapidly responded to cries for help in keeping our frontline workers moving. Incredibly special discounts and speedy development of safe practice to stay operational at such a crucial time was the start of a very strong relationship forged together.

"Since then, our working relationship has continued to flourish as we engage in special events, drive specials, seminars and site visits to witness first-hand their commitment to their ‘Vorsprung durch technik’ philosophy.

"We are extremely proud to have such a strong partnership with the Audi brand – a brand that our customers clearly love."
